Below you will find elementary group music, private music lessons, dance classes, theatre, optional music therapy with Bernadette Baer, and more. Each section tells you who it is for, what you get, and why families pick it—then links to details and pricing.
Pick by age & interest
Group classes, private lessons, theatre, and dance work differently. We group them so you can compare apples to apples before you call.
Tuition upfront
Lesson and class rates are on the tuition page, with the same monthly billing rhythm we explain at registration—no surprise wording.
One Pacific studio
Same teaching team whether you are booking dance, a first piano lesson, or music therapy—neighbors and St. Louis–area families welcome.
Group music
Small-group music for elementary-age students: singing, rhythm, and classroom instruments with peers on a weekly rhythm built for school-year planning. Ask which section matches your child—or jump to dance if movement is the priority this season.
Dance
Weekly classes with Sydney Smith and the dance faculty: ballet, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre tracks that shift by season. Tuition is the published per-class rate, billed monthly—ask which level has seats before you buy shoes.

One student and one teacher each week, same time slot when possible, billing you can follow in My Music Staff. Choose this when your child (or you) is ready for focused coaching on an instrument or for private theatre work.

For students who learn best one-on-one: weekly lessons in voice, piano, guitar, percussion, and many other band or orchestra instruments. The teacher sets pace and repertoire; families choose this for steady progress and a regular lesson spot.
How private lessons work
Theatre
Coaching and classes for students who want stage skills. When we put on a show, we hold auditions so every family sees the rehearsal calendar and behavior expectations before opening night. Pick theatre if your kid loves being on stage and you can plan around tech week.
Overview
For kids and teens who want stage skills: private or small-group coaching, plus full shows when we produce them. Auditions come with a clear rehearsal schedule so families know the commitment before the run starts.
Music therapy
Bernadette Baer offers music therapy for older adults and caregivers—separate from Saturday instrument lessons. We keep the tone clinical where it belongs and human everywhere else.

For seniors and caregivers, including those facing memory loss: supportive, therapist-led sessions focused on relationship and comfort—not a substitute for medical care, and not the same as a standard lesson.

More instruments
Band and orchestra instruments (woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion) use the same private-lesson setup as piano or voice—same weekly rhythm and tuition. This path is separate on the site so families know to ask us which instruments have a teacher open right now.

Seasonal & camps
Summer camps, short workshops, and limited-run classes appear when the calendar allows—each one lists ages, dates, and cost so you are not guessing. Write “camps” or “seasonal” in your message (or call) and we will send what has open seats now or add you to a short heads-up list for the next round.
